Repose Institute

The most complex problems facing our communities deserve more than the frameworks we've already tried.

Repose Institute supports communities in building resilience by developing, advancing, and implementing non-traditional thinking in traditional spaces.

The Problems We Address

The organizations and people doing the hardest community work are navigating underfunded systems, carrying generations of complexity, and building toward something that should outlast instability. They rarely have access to the depth of thinking their challenges actually require. Dominant problem-solving frameworks were not built for this work. Repose Institute exists to change that.

traditional FRAMEWORKS ALONE ARE NOT ENOUGH

We develop, pressure-test, and advance non-traditional approaches to complex community problems, drawing on novel, traditional, and historic ways of knowing, and support their implementation inside the systems where communities actually live.

Currently in formation

Repose Institute is actively establishing its 501(c)(3) status and building its foundational structures. We are in early conversations with aligned foundations and community partners. If you share our belief that community resilience requires a different kind of thinking, we'd welcome a conversation.

Let's build something that holds.

We are looking for aligned foundation partners, community advisors, and organizations who see what we see.
